About SSC
SSC CGL 2020 notification has been released on December 29, 2020 at its official website. The SSC CGL 2020 application form for Tier-I has also been released online mode along with the official brochure/notification. The last date to submit the SSC CGL application form is January 31. According to the SSC CGL exam pattern 2020, the test is conducted in four tiers – Tier I, II, III, and IV. SSC CGL 2020 Tier-I exam will be conducted from May 29 to June 7 in online mode. SSC CGL 2020 syllabus is also released by the exam authorities along with the official notification.
SSC CGL Tier I and II are held in Computer Based Mode while Tier III is a descriptive test which is conducted in pen and paper-based mode. SSC CGL 2020 Tier-IV exam is a skill test and consists of Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT). DEST is applicable only for the post of Tax Assistants (Central Excise and Income Tax) while candidates opting for the posts of Assistant Section Officer of CSS, Assistant Section Officer (MEA), Assistant in Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs and Assistant (GSI) in the Ministry of Mines will have to appear for CPT.
